Study Day Galway June 2013

A study day will be held in the NUIG Kingfisher pool in Galway on the 22nd of June. Topic for the day – working with adults swimmers.

Timetable:

1.30 – 3.15pm Workshop

3.30 – 4.30pm Pool session including demonstration with adult swimmers for the Octopus club.

5pm finish

Cost: €10 for HSAI members. €15 for non-members

First National Halliwick Gala

The Halliwick Swimming Association of Ireland hosted its first National Gala in Killarney on the 9th March 2013. Over 60 swimmers took part in 25m, 50m and 100m races as well as purple, red, yellow and green rosette activities and assessments. The event proved to be a great afternoon of swimming with many swimmers improving their personal bests dramatically. Many thanks to all of the volunteers who helped the day to run smoothly and to the swimmers who travelled from many parts of Ireland to participate.

Upcoming foundation courses

The next foundation course will take place in Charleville on the 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th June 2013. Further courses are planned for Kerry and Dublin after the Summer. More details will be posted here shortly.
